School meeting lunches are back
If you attended the in-person school meeting last week, you will know that lunch afterwards is now back on the menu. If you weren’t able to make it, make sure you come along next time and grab a bite to eat with colleagues after the meeting.
MPS football fun
The MPS football session are continuing and we’ve had two fun games already. There is another session taking place tomorrow (Tuesday 29th March) and then a regular slot will be arranged. Meet in the Pevensey II Foyer at 12:50 and we’ll head up to the 3G pitch at Falmer Sports Complex to kick off at 1pm. All abilities welcome with the emphasis on fun! If interested in this session or future sessions, please contact Sammy Valder to be added to the mailing list.
Falmer Village walk and pub lunch
Join Cassandra Churchwell on one of her famous walks, this time to discover some of the more interesting nature spots close to our school. This walk is shorter (about half an hour) so suitable for those who don’t wish to walk too far. The plan is to stroll up to Falmer via the pond, boiler house and sports complex followed by a pub lunch (costs not covered) at The Swan. Meet at 12 noon, Friday 8th April in the Pevensey II foyer.
Games
The much promised games are now here. Available from tomorrow in the staff room (3C19) and the Gauss House study space for anyone to use are the Munchkin Card Game, Exploding Kittens, Bohnanza, Risk, Chess and Uno.
Cake galore
This month join us in the Pevensey II foyer on Wednesday 13th April 14:30 – 15:30 and eat cake in support of Raystede animal sanctuary. Bring change and your own hot drink.
Physics and Maths Ball
The Maths and Physics Balls are back! The deadlines have been extended so there is still time to purchase tickets:
Starry Night Maths Ball – Sunday 1st of May at The Hilton
Physics Ball – Friday 29th April at The Grand
There is a wealth of information on the university’s staff wellbeing hub and the MPS wellbeing pages which have many tools and resources to look after your mental, physical and financial wellbeing.
With Best Wishes
The Wellbeing Team
