LinkedIn Learning

Provision of Linkedin Learning will change in December 2026

From December 2026, Linkedin Learning will be replaced with free-to-use resources. We’re making this change to better reflect the current digital skills needs of the University while providing better value for money.

So that we can support discussions and potential actions to safeguard your future access to suitable resources, please raise a ticket via the IT Support Portal with any comments or queries.

Introduction

LinkedIn Learning is an online learning platform that students and staff at Sussex can access at their leisure for free. With over 16,000 expert led courses to choose from, covering subjects ranging from IT, business and management to creative subjects and mental wellbeing, each course is broken down into sections making it easy to stop and start at a time that suits you. You can also connect your personal LinkedIn profile to provide additional benefits, such as publishing completed course certificates and receiving recommendations based on your information.

Log in to
LinkedIn Learning

Log in using your Sussex email address - e.g. ano123@sussex.ac.uk After you have completed the initial setup, you'll be asked for a username and password each time you log in to LinkedIn Learning. If you see an option to use SSO (Single Sign On) then select this. This will ask for your University login details, just like Canvas, Office or Box. If you've chosen to link your LinkedIn Learning account to your personal LinkedIn account, you will be asked for your personal LinkedIn login details when you try to access LinkedIn Learning.
