The Academic Quality and Partnerships team works with a range of colleagues at Sussex and at partner institutions in order to assure the quality of University of Sussex awards. We work in the following core business areas: Curriculum, Partnership and External Examiners.
Key areas of activity include:
- Supporting the delivery of the University Learn to Transform Strategy
- Providing information, advice and guidance to School colleagues on new course development (including course validation), and curriculum development activity (including providing advice around CMA compliance)
- Supporting Academic Misconduct and Exam Board processes
- Providing secretariat support to key University committees
- Managing contractual and operational relationships with partner institutions in the UK and overseas
- Managing quality assurance processes at partner institutions, including institutional recognition and course validation
- Supporting the management and administration of external examiner records
