Industrial action and your studies
The University’s priority was to minimise disruption to your education and to ensure that Sussex ran as close to normal as possible.
There was some disruption to teaching that was scheduled to take place on strike days. As striking staff did not need to let the University know in advance if they will be working, we planned for significant participation in the industrial action. The University actively assessed arrangements and planned contingency measures to minimise disruption.
