  • Attend the School and Teaching and Learning Committee meetings, to raise any issues on behalf of ATs and report back on developments relevant to ATs.
  • Provide training sessions aiming to enhance and support the AT experience. This includes Marking and Feedback sessions in the autumn and spring term, and termly sessions on specific training requirements.
  • Maintain a special site for ATs and GTAs on Study Direct. Psychat is the place to find resources on starting to teach and improving your teaching practice. It also features a ‘swap shop’ for tutors to share teaching materials for all of the courses taught in Psychology. Finally, there is a forum for you to discuss your teaching experience with other tutors and raise issues for us to take forward to meetings. To create your account, head to http://bit.ly/psychat and use ‘iteachpsych’ as the subscription key.
