Summer Placements
Our students complete a wide variety of summer placements including:
- SEPnet 8 week funded placements in local commercial organisations
- Research placements
- Industry placements
During the summer of 2014, 13 Physics students completed SEPnet placements with SMEs, multinational companies and research institutions. Students had the opportunity to carry out 8 week projects in such sectors as research, science communication, geophysics and information technology. Three students talk about their experiences below:
