School of Engineering and Informatics (for staff and students)

Teaching labs

Informatics has seven computer labs for student use, of various sizes from 6 to 44 seats. The larger ones are available to all Informatics students, whereas some of the smaller ones are module- or degree course-specific. During the day some of the labs may be booked for teaching sessions; if you are not part of that teaching group you may be asked to leave the lab or to work silently.

The labs are managed by the Informatics computing support team, and you can also view a list of labs, their locations and opening hours.

Access to the labs is controlled by keycode; Informatics students can obtain the keycode from the Informatics computing support helpdesk (Room 201, Chichester 1).
