Security officers patrol the campus 24 hours a day, 365 days a week.
It's safest to be with others when walking around campus at night.
After dark, a safety escort facility is available for any student or member of staff anywhere on the campus and to and from Falmer station. To book this service, telephone the Security Office on 01273 (67)8234 - please give as much notice as possible.
Personal attack alarms are available free of charge to all students, from the 24-hour reception in York House.

Regular safety checks are carried out on lighting and emergency phones. Any safety defect found anywhere on the campus is made safe until it can be rectified. During normal office hours staff and students should report any defect found to the Helpdesk on 01273 (87)7777; outside these hours phone 01273 (67)8234.
