Recycling facilities
The administrational and academic buildings have their waste and recycling collected by a local contractor, Veolia Environmental Services. General waste is collected Monday to Friday, and recycling is collected Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays.
Green (recycling) wheelie bins are located around the University campus.

Material collected in the green bins is taken for recycling. See the recycling disposal guide to check what material you can put in the green bins.
Put waste that is not currently recyclable in the blue bins . This waste goes to a Waste to Energy Facility which is an expensive disposal method, so please do not put anything recyclable in these bins.
General waste in the residences is collected by Veolia Environmental Services on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. Recycling is collected by the local authority on Wednesdays.
The residential halls have their general waste collected 3 times a week on Monday, Wednesday and Friday.
