Timetabling
Timetabling at the University of Sussex is undertaken centrally by the Division of Student Experience in collaboration with Faculties. Individual student timetables are produced and made available via Sussex Direct.
NEWS
The Online Room Booking System (ORBS) is currently open until 20th December 2025 and for the period 5th January - 7th February 2026
If you wish to book General Teaching Space (GTS) beyond these dates, please contact roombookingsteam@sussex.ac.uk.

The 2026-2027 Timetabling Framework will be published in late December 2025, following UEC approval.
- Teaching Staff Availability

The deadline for staff availability data to be provided to timetabling for the 26-27 timetabling cycle is 20th March 2026. Faculties will provide staff availability data to the timetabling team in accordance with relevant guidance and the Timetabling Framework. Queries about the staff availability process should be raised, in the first instance, with your Senior Education Manager.
