PC Labs

Silverstone Building Sky & Chrome Labs (209)

 MAH have a number of teaching spaces equipped with a suite of PC computers which can be used for editing work, written work, research and other project work. MAH labs are accessible to all practice students across CCP, Journalism and Music and are available up to 24 hours a day 7 days a week.


  • PC labs sky are equipped Dell Precision 3630 Tower (i7-8700, 16GB Ram, 1TB SSD) with each with a set of headphones for private working.
  • PC labs Chrome is equipped Dell Precision T1700 Tower (i7-4770, 32GB Ram,) with each with a set of headphones for private working.

These facilities are open access to students on practice modules across CCP, Journalism and Music. However please note classes do take place in these labs and access may be limited and you may be asked to move if a class is scheduled to take place in the lab.

There is no need to book to use these facilities, during non scheduled sessions computers are on a first come first serve basis.


SD Card readers

  • iMac Lab Chrome: SD card readers can be found on the computer
  • iMac labs Sky: SD Card Readers can be booked and collected from stores on a sort 1 hour booking via SiSO.
