Software on staff PCs

New staff PCs are set up with a standard set of software although applications are often customised for individual members of staff. Teaching PCs in lecture theatres and seminar rooms have the same software as student PCs.

Relational database management system (RDBMS)

Access is a database management system that allows you to build on design templates created by others and create and share your own.

Access is licensed for both on campus computers and staff and student home use under the Education for Enrollment Solutions (EES) agreement held by the university.
