This FAQ provides details of how to activate ArcGIS Pro using your Sussex login: https://www.sussex.ac.uk/its/help/guide?id=281
The following links are to external sites (links open in a new tab):
Site licence for ArcGIS Pro Advanced renewed annually for office or home use, staff or student. Overseas use is permitted.
The software can be used for research, however please note this license term:
Paid for Research Prohibited
Sites are not allowed to use the software for paid for research. For example, paid for research includes when a student/researcher is sponsored by a company to complete research and the company then owns the research for use in their commercial business. This is not allowed. If, however, a student/researcher is sponsored by a company to complete their PhD/project but the student owns the outcome then this is allowed.
Non-academic use is also permitted, please contact IT Services to arrange a license.
