In Sussex Direct, the Event Booking system is failing to check the availability of students I have selected for the time/date I have entered

This will be for one of 2 reasons:

1)      You have selected research students only. They are not included in the check as they do not have teaching sessions;

2)      You have selected more than 200 taught students. The system only carries on availability checks for up to 1,000 students. This is to prevent the system carrying out large queries.
