Two University of Sussex doctoral students receive awards for their research projects

University of Sussex PhD students’ work has been celebrated at this year's SeNSS Doctoral Training Partnership conference. The conference took place at Cranfield University, in July. In the 3 minute thesis competition, Charmaine Wellington won both the first prize and the people’s choice award for her work on the use of algorithms in human resource management, while Ryad Chems-Maarif won the runner up award for his work on mindfulness.
SeNSS is a doctoral training programme funded by ESRC, which offered studentships to social sicences students starting their doctoral studies between 2017 and 2023. This has been replaced by SEDarc (South East Doctoral Training Arc) Doctoral Training Partnership.
