In a nutshell, what is your research on?
I work at the interface between academia and industry researching nanomaterials and processing them for real-world applications. In partnership with Advanced Material Development, I had the opportunity to work on some exciting projects, including leading one for NASA!
What do you enjoy in your role as an ECR Rep?
Being an ECR rep is a great opportunity to engage with brilliant people across different levels of the University. It is a great way to understand how the University works and push for positive changes for our research community.
What is your ideal way to spend a weekend?
I like to spend my weekend relaxing and enjoying my many arts and crafts hobbies.
Tell us a fun fact about yourself.
I enjoy baking in my free time. My partner and I have a tradition of cooking and baking, respectively, dishes from the host country at each Formula 1 race weekend.
