There are many opportunities to become part of the wider research community beyond your School, and to meet and share experiences with other researchers.
At Sussex, Early Career Researcher (ECR) is defined as staff on a research-only contract at grades 6-8, broadly encompassing research assistants, postdoctoral researchers and research fellows.
Discover more about the ECR community by reading our Spotlight on Researchers series, where we interview ECRs on their research journey and share their story. We also host Festival events each June, celebrating and showcasing emerging researchers to the wider University and you can contact your ECR representatives to find out more about their work in the community.
