Hello,
There are many ways you can get your voice heard at Sussex, and we actively encourage your feedback.
We had a fantastic number of post-graduate students who took part in the Postgraduate Taught Experience Survey. Your responses will help shape the future for other postgraduate students, so a big thank you to all who took part.
The University was also recently shortlisted for the Cost of Living Award at the Whatuni Student Choice Awards, based on our £2 subsidised meal initiative – a direct result of student feedback!
We are currently looking for your views on our online magazine, Flint. We would love to hear what you think about Flint - the content, the format, and even the name! We’ve put together a short survey that only takes five minutes – take the survey.
Head to the Student Hub to keep up with opportunities for sharing your views.

Outstanding work of academic and professional services recognised at Sussex Education Awards
The sun came out to celebrate the Sussex Education Awards on Thursday 4 May, and it was an honour to be co-hosting the event with our Vice-Chancellor, Professor Sasha Roseneil.
Every year we ask our students to nominate staff who they think deserve to be recognised for the amazing work that they do in supporting the student experience. We saw nearly 300 nominations and gave out almost 30 awards to people across academic and professional services.
Read all about the event and see the full list of winners in this news story.
Inclusive Sussex: In Conversation event, featuring Professor Tom Shakespeare CBE FBA
Tom Shakespeare is Professor of Disability Research at London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine. Professor Shakespeare will be exploring the current picture of disability inclusion in the context of the UN Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities.
He will be joined by a panel of Sussex staff to talk about the next steps in disability, liberation and equality on Wednesday 17 May.
This event is open to all Sussex students, staff, alumni and friends of Sussex. However, booking is essential, so please book your place.
Black at Sussex Brighton Fringe programme
The University of Sussex is partnering with creative arts programme, Culture ConneX, to produce an exclusive series of local, black-led events at this year’s Brighton Fringe Festival. The aim of the events programme is to develop opportunities for different communities to access the arts and connect with each other.
Check out the full events programme.
Discounted tickets to Brighton and Hove Albion women’s team matches
Staff and students can now buy discounted tickets to watch Brighton and Hove Albion’s Women’s team.
Women’s home matches are played at the Broadfield Stadium in Crawley and there are still some home matches left this season.
