The Urban Fabric: Layers of London Road
A place based creative textile workshop exploring the layers of people’s lived experience of London Road. Project partners Sew Fabulous and Quiet Down There will be asking you to think about your experiences of the London Road area, the places you go and the people you meet. Then using a selection of salvaged fabrics you will start to build up a visual representation of what the area means to you, how it looks and your pathways through it. All materials provided and no experience needed.
This event is open to academics and external organisations who are interested in using participatory methods to work with place.
