Water Booster Pump House

ITS Workstream to support the SEF project to install a new water booster pump house.
The IT work stream was delivered on schedule and within budget, the pump house has been successfully connected to the University network.

SIP Lines

Project to enable the UoS telephony solution to send and receive calls via the Internet using SIP (Session Initiation Protocol) trunking, replacing the traditional use of the current ISDNs (Integrated Services Digital Network) over a copper cabled network.

Current Research Information System (CRIS) implementation

Technical Workstream of the Current Research Information System implementation. A CRIS will organise data to support the evaluation of research, research assessment, compliance management and promotion of and access to the outcomes of research.

A joint ITS and Estates project to survey, design and plan key strategic network improvements across campus.

Phase 2 of the project is to implement and integrate the academic workload planning system in the schools that took part in the initial project pilot
