Essential Maintenance: File storage system (non disruptive), 30 October 2018, 20:30 - 23.00

Description of work:
We are continuing to work with Dell to find the root cause for the issue that sometimes affects desktop performance, and this is another step in that work. Following a range of fixes and changes to the platform over the past weeks, we will be rebooting each file system controller in sequence. The other controllers will remain active, so you will continue to be able to access your files, but you might notice slower performance for a while.

If you’re working on files in your N Drive at this time, or using a desktop computer on campus, you might notice slightly slower performance.

Why are we doing this work?
This is part of the ongoing works to resolve the problem that causes slow desktop performance on campus.
