Reason for downtime:

There will be intermittent interruption to Staff and Student N Drives (Home Shares) while our suppliers carry out essential system maintenance to address desktop performance issues.

During this time there will be breaks in service connecting to user home drive resources. This will affect all campus desktop computers, devices and associated services (windows remote, admin remote, Unix services) which access the University file storage. If you are accessing the N Drive (Home Share) during this time you may experience frozen applications or a wait cursor for up to 10 minutes.

If your applications remain frozen for more than 10 minutes, please log out and log back in.

This work is part of an ongoing programme of improvements to system stability and performance.
