Using PowerPoint can I show my audience my slides whilst I see the slides and notes?

PowerPoint does this using the Presenter View feature, which needs to be turned on in the presentation but is also hardware dependent, most modern laptops can do this.

If you wish to use Presenter View in Sussex Lecture theatres and Seminar rooms, then please do so by connecting your own laptop using the cables provided . The lectern PC is setup for use with the projector and lecture capture.

For more information on using Presenter View please go direct to the relevant Microsoft pages.

Powerpoint 2016

  1. On the Slide Show tab, in the Monitors group tick Presenter view then click OK.
  2. Run your presentation (F5) or on the View tab, in the Presentation Views group, click Slide Show
