Welcome to the Annual Course Review
Annual Course Review is one of the University’s key quality assurance and enhancement processes and, along Academic Development and Periodic Review, is intended to assure and enhance the quality of the University’s taught provision, and the student teaching and learning experience, both undergraduate and postgraduate. Annual Course Review includes modules or courses franchised to a partner institution or taken off campus (e.g. year abroad, placements).
The Annual Course Review handbook and associated pro-formas can be found on the ADQE webpages.
For this cycle of Annual Course Review, modules and courses delivered to undergraduate and postgraduate taught students in 2015-16 will be considered. The timing of the Annual Course Review has been adjusted this year to support more complete reporting on postgraduate courses.
Documentation, both the Course and School reports, will be considered at a Quality Enhancement Event that will be held on Thursday 2 February 2017. This will identify actions to be considered further at University-level and note areas of good practice for wider dissemination. A report from this meeting will be fed back to Schools via the Spring Term University Teaching and Learning Committee meeting.
