If you have a student parking permit, you can log in to your account and renew your permit from Monday 24 August.

Parking is available to students under the following exceptional circumstances:

• Students with a disability or other mobility difficulties, who are registered as such with Disability Support
• Students who are responsible for primary aged children and/or are guardians to other dependents, with select parking spaces reserved for carers before 10am
• PhD students who are also members of University staff, depending on working hours and employment status
• Students living on campus with families
• Students who live far enough from campus that a journey via public transport would take over 1.25 hours (1 hour and 15 minutes); this is calculated as a journey to campus at 8.30am on a Monday morning

If you are enrolled on a PGCE or Early Years Learning course with the School of Education and Social Work (ESW), and are on placement at a school or college, you can apply for parking one day per week (plus your two-week induction) via the online portal from Monday 24 August.

Blue Badge holders are exempt from parking charges – please contact the Transport Office to register your exemption.

To allow extra time to renew your permit, all existing parking permits will be automatically extended to expire on Wednesday 30 September.

The deadline to renew your parking permit is Thursday 1 October.

You can change your registered vehicles at any time by logging in to the parking permit portal. You can register up to five vehicles at once on one permit.
