This June, the University’s Summer of Research programme will begin with a series of collaboration workshops designed to bring researchers together around some of the most pressing challenges facing society today. They will create space for colleagues from different disciplines to connect, exchange ideas and explore how interdisciplinary collaboration could take advantage of future funding opportunities.
Set within the University’s strategic themes, Human Flourishing, Environmental Sustainability, and Digital and Data Futures, the workshops are delivered by the Research Development Team in collaboration with the School for Progressive Futures. Each event will offer insights into opportunities linked to the UK Government’s Modern Industrial Strategy and Horizon Europe priorities and encourage discussion, networking and the start of new partnerships across the University.
All workshops run from 11am to 2pm and include both lunch and refreshments.
