Planned downtime (Sussex Direct, Oracle Yellow Forms, student timetabling records) Friday 12 – Sunday 14 December

Sussex Direct, student timetabling records in the Sussex mobile app. and Oracle Yellow Forms CMS will be temporarily unavailable from 4pm Friday 12 December until Sunday 14 December at midday.
The downtime will allow important work to upgrade the Oracle Central Database which will take place over the course of the weekend.
If you are using any of these applications during the day on Friday, please save your work and log out before the work begins.
All other systems will remain available throughout the work period but in some cases the sharing of data between systems will be paused while the work takes place. The project team are in touch with the owners of these systems directly to ensure disruption is avoided.
This work has been deliberately scheduled at the end of the Autumn term to minimise disruption to students. Nonetheless, students will receive updates via the student hub and the student newsletter to make them aware of the downtime and alternative arrangements whilst the work takes place.
