University brand refresh update

Our refreshed University brand identity is nearly ready for use. Thank you to everyone who has shared feedback and insight so far — your questions are shaping the final guidelines and FAQ, which are coming soon.
For now
You might start to see elements of the new brand in official University communication and marketing materials, but please don’t start using the new brand yet. That means don't apply new logos, colours or templates in your work (or commissioned work) until the final brand guidelines are published.
Once the guidelines are published, there’s no need to rush to change branded materials. We expect the roll-out to happen gradually and to feel like an evolution rather than a revolution.
The Brand team is creating approved materials (like PowerPoint decks and business cards), which will be shared once everything’s ready.
When to contact the Brand team
Please email the Brand team at brand@sussex.ac.uk if:

You need to commission design work. Contact the brand team at the outset and stick with approved agencies from the official roster.

You have any questions about what to prioritise over the coming months.
In short: there’s no need to rush, and no expectation for the new brand to be applied everywhere at once after the final guidelines are published. Please contact the brand team if you have any questions.
