An Introduction to Evaluation – Understand
As expectations around evaluation are growing, attend this training programme to learn more about the basics and develop your knowledge and skills for evaluating your own projects.
This is session one of ten. The programme has been designed so you can attend the whole thing or parts you feel are most relevant to you. Further information about the programme can be found here.
Whether you’re involved in project management, development, delivery, or evaluation, this introductory session will help you consider objectives, identify your critical assumptions, and visualise the pathway to success.
The first half of this session will introduce basic concepts of evaluation and the second will focus on understanding Theory of Change models.
Theory of Change is a powerful logic model approach for planning, evaluating, and enhancing the impact of your projects and initiatives. This training will guide you through the parts of the framework to help you link activities to desired outcomes and long-term goals, providing a clear visual roadmap for achieving meaningful change. Perfect for anyone looking to enhance their strategic thinking and project design skills.
