Meet your Careers and Entrepreneurship Team, we’ll share tips and advice on how to find part-time jobs in the local area and write effective CVs, cover letters and applications.
Learn objectives:
- Discover the part-time job market in the local area to the University and where to find opportunities
- Learn the variety of typical roles you can undertake as a student
- Explore where to gain other types of experience, such as volunteering, which also develops your skills and supports your future plans
- Understand different CV and cover letter styles, and when to use them
- Discover what employers are looking for
- Learn about our online resources for crafting effective CVs and cover letters, from our CV360 tool, to how to appropriately use AI when creating documents.
