Park & Ride scheme at Sussex this summer
A new public Park and Ride is launching from University of Sussex this summer on selected weekend dates, taking passengers into the heart of the city quickly, conveniently and easily. P1 Science car park will be closed to campus users on these dates.
- Sunday 3 August
- Sunday 10 August
- Sunday 17 August
- Bank Holiday weekend of 23, 24 and 25 August
- Saturday 30 August
A27 overnight works near Arundel and Clapham
National Highways are undertaking vegetation clearance and road surface treatment on the A27 between Crossbush roundabout (near Arundel) and the Clapham Interchange, as follows.
The A27 will be closed one-way during these works, with diversions in place, overnight from 8pm to 6am.
- A27 eastbound: closed Monday 4 August for five nights
- A27 westbound: Tuesday 12 August for five nights
Afternoon closures on Pavilion Road
Pavilion Road (leading to the Falmer Sports Complex) is closed from 3pm to 8pm, on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday evenings, until further notice. This is to maintain safe and correct parking during busy periods. After 8pm the road will be re-opened as normal.
Car parks, roads, and closures
Approximately 18 spaces are closed in P7a Upper Arts car park, to facilitate an electrical network upgrade project.
