As part of the Funder Engagement activities in ResDev, join us online for the Know Your Funder: Natural Environment Research Council (NERC) session.
To coincide with the announcement of the new ten-year vision on the occasion of the 60th year of its formation, there will be a session on NERC on Thursday 26th June, 11:00 - 11:40 am.
NERC is the main UK funding stream aimed at environmental sciences with core funding of £327 million, more than ESRC and AHRC combined. The session will consist of a run through of the funder’s objectives and priorities, its schemes, and key points to consider in trying to raise our participation levels with this funding council .
As part of the presentation , Julian Murton, Professor of Permafrost Science will be sharing his personal experience of applying to NERC.
