Join us online for the British Academy - Research Funding Briefing. This is a part of the Funder Engagement activities in ResDev.

A presentation will be delivered by the British Academy (BA) covering an overall introduction to the Academy, their strategic priorities and objectives as well as an overview of key funding schemes and key points for applicants to consider. This will be followed by a Q&A session with the members of the BA Research Funding team.

We will also hear from Michael Collyer, Professor of Geography (Global) and Dr Max Lacey-Barnacle, Senior Research Fellow (SPRU) about their experience of winning successful BA applications, the work they conducted as part of their award and details about the impact on their career/long term research. In additional, we will be joined by Prof. Gurminder Bhambra, Associate Dean (Research and Innovation, Faculty of Social Sciences) outlining her experience reviewing as part of her role as Fellow of the British Academy.

Please note that this event will be recorded. Faculty and PS staff from any school are very welcome.
