Our first ever All-Staff Wellbeing Festival is happening today, Wednesday 17 July and we hope you have the opportunity to take part in some of the fun and impactful events coming up during the day to support mental, physical and financial wellbeing. Take a look at the full programme.
Don’t yet know when you’re going to be free? You can come along to a drop-in session, or visit the Wellbeing Room in Conference Rooms 1 and 2, Bramber House, which will be open from 11am to 4pm.
Here are some festival highlights which still have space at the time of writing, a mixture of in person, livestreamed and online only events:
- Keynote speakers including Paul Dolan on happiness by design, CoppaFeel breast cancer awareness, Robin Banerjee on kindness and Kristine Langhoff on the value of being trauma informed
- Activities supporting physical, financial, and mental wellbeing including Luna Hut Sauna, line dancing, scribble away the stress sessions and more…
- A photo booth for capturing memories (which you can share on Viva Engage!)
Can’t attend in person?
Take a look at the programme webpage for all our online and livestreamed content. If you are not working today, remember that we have a year-round wellbeing offer for staff on the Wellbeing Hub. And you could consider a personal wellbeing activity today like a walk, bike ride, crafting or reading - don’t forget to share that on Viva Engage too.
Booking and attendance
Many activities require pre-booking, and some are already fully booked, but lots are drop-in or still have spaces available.
All bookings except the Luna Hut Sauna are being managed via LearnUpon, and you can check your bookings in the 'My Live Sessions' tab in your LearnUpon account. If you can no longer attend any events please cancel your booking via LearnUpon or by emailing mailto:od@sussex.ac.uk as soon as you can so we can offer places to people on waiting lists. Your team won’t be charged a cancellation fee – this is a standard message on LearnUpon but doesn’t apply for the festival events.
The Wellbeing Room in Conference Rooms 1 and 2 in Bramber House will be open from 11am to 4pm.
Accessibility Stewards will be available in Bramber House from 9.30am-3pm and will be easily identifiable as they will be wearing high-visibility vests.
Don't miss out - book your sessions now via the website! We look forward to seeing you there.
