The Accreditations team in the Business School hosted Coffee Morning on Thursday with a festive-themed ‘Thank You’ event.
Mince pies and Christmas music were on offer as the team thanked everybody for all of their contributions towards Accreditations and celebrated a very successful 2023.
The process of attaining triple crown status continues to reap a number of huge benefits for the Business School, including:
- Developing a hiring strategy which aligns with the mission of the School, leading to hiring circa 50 new E&R positions (AACSB).
- Significantly improving the faculty workload model (AACSB).
- Building a global brand for the Business School (EQUIS).
- Embedding sustainability into the curriculum (PRME).
- Forging relationships with major Sussex employers (AMBA).
- Shifting our mindset to become more data-driven in our decision making, leading us to better position ourselves in the market.
The Business School currently holds two of the three major Accreditations: EQUIS and AMBA. Both of these bodies have recently provided us with very positive feedback on our progress reports, congratulating the School for meeting their expectations in many areas and exceeding them in several others. This is due, in no small part, to a collective and collaborative effort across the School.
The hard work never stops though, and all eyes are now on achieving AACSB accreditation and reaching “triple-crown” status, with every reason to be very optimistic about achieving this in 2025.
From the Business School Accreditations team, we'd like to say a huge thank you to everybody once again and we wish you a restful winter break.
