A reminder that our next staff pulse survey will open next Tuesday (28 September) and run until Tuesday 19 October.
The staff survey is an important opportunity for you to share your experiences so we can collectively work out how to translate your feedback into meaningful change to make life as a member of staff at Sussex better.
Siobhan O'Reilly, Director of HR, said: "We are now running Pulse surveys twice a year - in the Spring and Autumn. It means that you get to answer a much shorter set of questions on a more regular basis. It allows us to receive feedback on a more regular basis, helping us track whether we are making progress at a local level as well as institution-wide.
“We appreciate what a busy time of year it is for everyone, particularly as we adapt to new ways of working. But please do take the opportunity to have your say and helping make the university the workplace you want it to be.
"We want to encourage as many people as possible to take part and give an honest opinion of working at Sussex. With this is mind our survey provider, People Insights, will manage responses in confidence and ensure there is no risk of responses being attributable to an individual."
Once the survey is open, you will be invited by email to take part and share your views and your experience of working here and what you think we could be doing differently or better. Your personal link to the survey will be included in this email.
Reminders will be sent out each week during the survey window to anyone who hasn’t yet completed, asking them to take part.
Results from the last survey helped us to shape the UEG & institution-wide action plan and local action plans at School and Divisional level.
You can see what progress has been made on putting some of these institutional actions in place.
