Nominations for the Business School Awards 2020 and event booking are now open to staff and students.

The awards are a fantastic opportunity to celebrate our talented students, academics and professional services staff who truly embody the innovative spirit and values of the Business School.

The evening ceremony will take place at the Attenborough Centre for the Creative Arts (ACCA) on 23 April from 6pm. Doors open at 5.30pm. The event will include performances from our talented students, a guest speaker and other entertainment at the drinks reception.

I really do encourage you to attend, and you don’t have to nominate to book a free ticket.

About the Awards

This year we have launched new Award categories, which are aligned to our four strategic pillars and University values. These are:

• Student of the Year Awards (UG years 1, 2, final, and PG) (open to all Business School students)
• 21^st Century Teaching Award (open to academics)
• Beyond Boundaries Research Award (open to academics)
• Supporting Success (open to all staff)
• Making Waves Across the Globe Award (open to all students and staff)
• Cultivating Communities Award (open to all students and staff)
• Celebrating Collaboration (open to groups of students, staff or a mix)

 Nominations close on 23 March 2020 at 5pm.

Previous winners have said that being nominated really boosted their motivation and confidence, knowing that the impact of their work is recognised and valued.
