New Summer Programme in Partnership with Tata Institute for Social Sciences

Global Engagement are delighted to be awarded a UK-India Education and Research Initiative (UKIERI) to run an almost fully funded summer school in June in partnership with Tata Institute for Social Sciences (TISS) in Mumbai.

The programme ‘Intersectional Inequalities: Migration, Sexualities and Gender’ will be open to all current second year Global Studies undergraduates and co-taught by Global Studies and TISS faculty.

An event will be run on 29 January, 2-3pm in Arts A2 for interested students.

UKIERI aims to enhance educational linkages between India and the UK. The ‘Study in India’ scheme provides grants to UK Higher Education Institutions increase levels of outward mobility in the UK and to support the internationalisation of Indian Higher Education Institutions, establishing links with a potential for future partnership and research collaborations.
