Speaker: Will Dry, Lara Spirit, Femi Oluwole

The Sussex Centre for Language Studies is delighted to announce a talk in conjunction with EUnity Lewes by leading members of the anti-Brexit student movement Our Future, Our Choice. We’re pleased to be hosting the co-presidents Will Dry and Lara Spirit, together with spokesperson Femi Oluwole. They will be discussing the future issues - economic, educational and social - faced by the younger generation both within and outside the EU and why they feel that they should have the same opportunities as older generations.
A European identity is the only one most of them have ever known and they state in their manifesto:
"Our generation wants the opportunity to lead in the world, to write history - not just read it. We want to solve the problems we care about, like climate change, cooperating hand in hand with our most important friends and allies on the continent."
