A number of changes to student facilities in the Jubilee Building will take effect from the beginning of the 2017/18 autumn term:
Room G32
The former BMEc student study space in G32 is being converted into a dedicated Research Seminar room with a large interactive screen.
To ensure that BMEc students still have access to the resource previously offered in Jubilee G32, we have arranged the following:
- three new pods are being installed in Jubilee from early October
- the Library has also substantially increased its number of study spaces
- new Student Experience noticeboards will be installed in the Jubilee atrium
- a new location for the student information display screen previously located in G32 will be announced shortly.
Room 136
- Jubilee 136 is being converted into a Bloomberg Financial Markets Lab with multi-monitor workstations and two dedicated Bloomberg TV screens
- you will need to book the room in order to use it; details of how to book will be made available shortly.
Room 137 and 230
- both Jubilee 137 and Jubilee 230 are becoming dedicated PHD Business and Management study spaces, with an increase in workstation availability.
Lockers
- Lockers are now available for use by BMEc students, located in the ground floor stairwells behind the lifts.
- keys available through Claire Penta (Building Manager) in Jubilee 203
- use of locker keys requires a deposit of £10, payable to Claire Penta.
