A new US edition of SPRU’s RM Phillips Professor Mariana Mazzucato’s book, The Entrepreneurial State: debunking public vs. private sector myths, was published on 27 October 2015 by Public Affairs.

The US edition, which features a new introduction, was covered by the US media including in an article written by Professor Mazzucato for the LA Times, a piece in Time and on the Huffington Post which posted an interview originally conducted for the Institute of New Economic Thinking and also reposted on Alternet, Salon and Naked Capitalism.

During a trip to the US Professor Mazzucato gave two talks to promote the book: a World Economic Roundtable of the New America Foundation and a public talk at New School in New York, followed by a conversation with Rana Foroohar, Assistant Managing Editor, Time, and Mark Setterfield, Professor of Economics at the New School.
