The School successfully applied for membership of AACSB in July, joining over 1,300 other members from over 80 countries, all of whom are devoted to the advancement of higher education.

Gaining membership of AACSB, together with EFMD (European Foundation for Management Development), has ensured that BMEc continues to raise its profile against its competitor institutions, and represents the next step towards gaining the appropriate recognition sought by the School.  Membership of AACSB is the first stage and will be followed by an application for full accreditation of BMEc from AACSB.

“As with the alternative European Quality Improvement System (EQUIS) accreditation process, I’m fully confident that we can succeed with AACSB, with the involvement of our many dedicated and committed colleagues across the School over the next few years of the accreditation process.”
