The School office has been reorganised to enable members of the various teams to be located together and allow for more collaborative working.
Jenny Maynard joined us on 3 March as the new CAO and she will be working closely with Claire Brennan and the Undergraduate and Postgraduate Taught teams of support. We will be spending time introducing her to staff, but do please come down and introduce yourselves.
Flo Harman has been successfully seconded to the post of CAO in English from 10 March for 10 weeks. We wish her all the very best and hope she will visit us and let us know how she’s getting on.
Claire Sherry will be supporting Claire Brennan and Jenny Maynard during Flo Harman’s secondment.
Layla Allan has also returned to Reception as temporary cover for Claire Sherry.
Chris Sykes is pleased to announce the arrival of Faith Bannier to the International Summer School team on 3 March as a Clerical Assistant supporting ISS activities.
We are also pleased to welcome two new members to SPRU:
- Charlotte Humma has recently joined the School as Research Communications Coordinator. She will be play a key role in supporting researchers to communicate the outcomes and impact of research, raise the profile of SPRU and the School, and assist in generating new opportunities and funds for research activity.
- Marion Clarke has joined as Research Co-ordinator and her role is to plan, develop and deliver research and knowledge exchange, in particular through externally-funded projects and activities. Marion will work closely with the Research Development Officer within the Research and Enterprise Division, School Manager, Research Communications Coordinator, and Directors of Research and Knowledge Exchange. Her role is split between SPRU, Economics and Business and Management.
