Between 17 and 21 March, Dr Julie Litchfield and Professor Alan Winters attended the Annual Meeting of the Migrating Out of Poverty Research Consortium held at the African Centre for Migration and Society in Johannesburg, South Africa.

The Consortium, of which Julie is a Research Theme Leader and Alan CEO, is funded by DFID to research migration within and between developing countries. It has five Partners in the developing world – in Ghana, Kenya, South Africa, Bangladesh and Singapore – and a Secretariat in Sussex.
