“We are delighted to receive this recognition of our vibrant teaching and research community. It also reflects how our wonderful students become equipped to go on to do a range of interesting jobs, or postgraduate studies, which involve working with children and young people."
The University’s Childhood and Youth Studies received an overall score of 100%. It performed strongly in all categories and ranked particularly highly in graduate prospects, scoring 88% in the outcomes of graduates who go into employment or further education after completing their degree, and 94% in those whose current situation is on track with their future plans. Both categories highlight the quality of education that students receive which leads them to further studies and careers in their chosen field.
The methodology of the subject league tables from the Complete University Guide is based on data available in the public domain, including the Office for Students and the Higher Education Statistics Agency. It measures a wide range of variables including entry standards, student satisfaction, quality of research, continuation of first-year students and graduate prospects.
