Adobe removed from Windows Remote

Posted: Wed 15 Jul 2020, 10:21am.

Adobe programs like Acrobat, Photoshop and InDesign are no longer available via Windows Remote.

If you need to use Adobe applications, you should install them at home or alternatively you can connect to a campus PC via the Staff VPN.

ITS now offers a range of ways to work from home (for example, the Staff VPN, cloud file storage and the improved webmail system), making Windows Remote unnecessary for most staff. Adobe have released the latest updates for their software, and unfortunately these preventing Adobe products working in the Windows Remote environment.

For more information about working effectively from home, please see the ITS website.
