Phishing email targeting Sussex users

Several users have reported a new phishing email over the weekend and this morning. This message claims that your web-mail account is due to expire, and provides a link to "update" your account.
This is a common approach taken by phishing messages. The link leads to a fraudulent website that has been designed to steal your login details. Please do not follow the link, and please delete the email if you receive it.

If you receive an email that you think might be malicious, you can forward it to the IT Service Desk (support@sussex.ac.uk) to be checked.
