Performance issues with eduroam last night

Last night between 1830 and 2130 there was an incident that affected traffic on the University network. The problem was identified and resolved, and appears to have been caused by a hardware fault. During this window some users may have been unable to connect to the wi-fi or wired networks.

IT Services would like to apologise for this interruption to service. We will continue to monitor the performance of the network today.

Please note that this incident is not related to wider, ongoing issue of network performance during the busiest times of the day, which we are also urgently working to resolve with our service providers.
