UCL ransomware attack

Following the news that University College London is currently experiencing a significant ransomware attack, we ask that staff report any unusual or suspicious behaviour by their computer to the Service Desk as a matter of urgency. Please also be vigilant for any suspicious emails, and staff should be particularly careful at this time not to follow suspicious links or open unexpected attachments.

If in doubt, please report it: forward suspicious emails to support@sussex.ac.uk or call the Service Desk on 8090.

We will be rolling out important security updates to Windows PCs during the day. If you are prompted to reboot your computer please do so as soon as you can. Additional updates will run overnight so we ask staff to log off at the end of the day but leave their computer switched on overnight.
