Services are returning to normal after problems with campus computers and IT systems earlier this evening. 

From around 6.30pm, staff and students working on the campus experienced problems using campus PCs, file systems and other services including software such as Microsoft Office. The issue was traced to a fault with the central file systems and fixed at around 7.45pm. The affected services have been returning to normal operation since that time and should now be available as usual.

We're sorry for all the frustration this has been causing tonight and will carry out further checks on Wednesday morning to make sure services are working as they should.
